Ogni sistema ha 2 elettrodi (positivo e negativo), elettrolita e separatore. La maggior parte dei sistemi elettrochimici hanno un ossido di metallo o l&#8217;ossigeno stesso come positivo e un metallo come negativo. I sistemi possono essere ulteriormente classificati come batterie primarie e secondarie. Le batterie primarie sono per l&#8217;uso una tantum, mentre le batterie secondarie possono essere scaricate e ricaricate pi\u00f9 volte.<\/p>\n<p>Alcune delle batterie secondarie commercialmente
