What is a flooded battery used for?
Microtex 2v flooded lead-acid battery have excellent reserve capacity. Deep-cycle characteristics, and recover from deep discharges quickly.
Flooded battery are robust in construction housed in the time tested Hard Rubber- ebonite containers or in modern high-impact Polypropylene copolymer (PPCP) hermetically heat sealed containers. Flooded battery manufactured with Tubular positive plates use woven gauntlets to eliminate shedding. Tubular plates ensure good capacity and long cycle life.

How do you know if your battery is flooded? Usually flooded batteries have a vent hole on the top of each cell. This venting is provided to top up the battery with DM water to replace the loss during its chemical reaction which is a normal behaviour. It is very important that no acid should be added into the cell. Only DM water.

What is flooded battery life? How Microtex flooded battery performs?
Special designer lead alloys, with super additives, tin, low-antimony, arsenic, ensuring a really long life for your Microtex 2V flooded battery. In addition, we add nucleating agents like selenium, sulfur & copper to ensure the lead electrodes do not corrode for a long time, ensuring a very long life.
