Manager - Sales

Job Description: As a Manager – Sales at Microtex, you will play a crucial role in driving sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing sales plans, and managing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the automotive industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve their individual and team targets.

Minimum Requirements for a Sales Manager:

  1. Educational Background:

    • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience:

    • At least 5-8 years of experience in sales, with a significant portion of that experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector. Experience in the automotive or battery industry is a plus.
  3. Technical Knowledge and Skills:

    • Sales Strategy and Planning:
      • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve company sales targets.
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
      • Proficiency in using CRM software like Salesforce to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and analyze sales data.
    • Market Analysis:
      • Expertise in conducting market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    • Sales Forecasting:
      • Skills in sales forecasting and budgeting to predict future sales and allocate resources effectively.
    • Negotiation Skills:
      • Strong negotiation skills to close deals, manage contracts, and build long-term relationships with key clients.
    • Product Knowledge:
      • Ability to grasp a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, and the ability to articulate their benefits to customers.

    • Sales Metrics:

Manager Quality Assurance

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager – Quality Assurance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry and a proven track record of implementing and managing quality assurance processes. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards of product quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive quality assurance processes and procedures.
Oversee all aspects of quality control throughout the production lifecycle.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
Analyze quality data and generate reports to inform management decisions.
Drive initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Ensure that all quality assurance activities align with company goals and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the automotive industry.

    • PPAP (Production Part Approval Process):
      • Understanding of the PPAP process to ensure that suppliers can meet the production quality requirements.
    • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis):
      • Proficiency in conducting FMEA to identify and address potential failure modes in products and processes.
    • APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning):
      • Familiarity with APQP to ensure product quality planning and control throughout the product development cycle.
    • MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis):
      • Ability to conduct MSA to assess the quality and precision of measurement systems.
    • SPC (Statistical Process Control):
      • Competence in using SPC tools to monitor and control manufacturing processes.
    • Root Cause Analysis:
      • Expertise in root cause analysis methodologies to identify and rectify quality issues.
    • ISO/TS 16949:
      • Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 quality management standards specific to the automotive industry.
    • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma:
      • Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  2. Soft Skills:

    • Leadership and Team Management:
      • Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor a quality assurance team.
    • Analytical Skills:
      • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate quality data and implement corrective actions.
    • Communication Skills:
      • Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
    • Attention to Detail:
      • Keen attention to detail to ensure all quality standards and procedures are meticulously followed.
  3. Tools and Software:

    • Proficiency in quality management software and tools (e.g., Minitab, QMS software).
    • Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
  4. Regulatory Knowledge:

    • Awareness of industry-specific regulatory requirements and standards.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
