Train Lighting batteries: The coach battery system for train lighting is designed to meet the harsh environments where dust and heat are generated as the train is speeding along the tracks facing the cold and the heat from different parts across India. Microtex coach battery is available for Train Lighting in Tubular Gel VRLA Battery & AGM VRLA cells 110v 120Ah.
For railway, AC coaches train batteries Microtex offers 110v 1100Ah maintenance-free Valve Regulated Lead Acid Cells housed in steel modules. These are placed undercarriage in railway AC coaches battery box. The AC 3 tier coach battery capacity is 1100Ah.

Our diesel locomotive battery is designed for instant cranking currents, delivering maximum power to start the locomotive engine instantaneously, with deep-discharge performance. Manufactured with very low antimony alloys, they require very less water topping-up. A boon for the railway locomotive application.

Railway Signaling battery available in low maintenance batteries and Maintenance-free VRLA Battery. Suitable for signalling, level crossing and point operation, positive train control, and telecommunications equipment.

The ac electric locomotive battery is designed to meet the tough environments inside the electric locomotive. It should be designed to withstand the vibrations & heat in the battery box of the locomotive. The electric locomotive uses a 110v 70Ah battery bank & Electric Multiple Units require 110v 90Ah battery bank systems.

Microtex Railway traction distribution battery is available in both low maintenance batteries and SMF Maintenance-free VRLA Battery. Suitable for TRD applications for maintenance & operation of overhead equipment & power supply installations with reliable battery backup for control centres.

End on Generation (EOG) is the system used on fully air-conditioned Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains. The system comprises two power cars per train. Each power car has two DG sets and each DG set is rated at 300 kW. These are mounted inside the power car or the entire power car coach which is dedicated to these power plants. The power generated by these DG sets is utilized for electrical loads of the train.
